Landa Counseling Center had a wealth of valuable content, but needed a clearer, more engaging way to share it. The goal was to transform the website into a trusted resource hub - one that could support parents, teens, young adults, and schools while also serving as a directive to Rabbi Avi Landa’s counseling and speaking services.
The challenge was bringing several audiences and nearly 50 resources into one cohesive experience. The new site needed to feel professional and credible, yet warm and approachable - making complex topics easier to explore without overwhelming the user.
The process began with reorganizing the site around the people using it: parents, young people, and schools. I developed a clearer information hierarchy, mapped intuitive pathways through the content, and designed a searchable, filterable resource library that could continue growing over time.
A lighthouse became the central visual metaphor for guidance and clarity, supported by a calm palette of navy, cream, and gold. To give the resource library a consistent identity, I also created a custom collection of topic-specific watercolor artwork. The complete experience was then designed and developed in WordPress, with careful attention to responsive layout, usability, and long-term flexibility.
